The Texas Record Project welcomes your personal submissions. We will accept original photographs and will return them to you within 2-4 weeks of receiving them. Electronic submissions must conform to our electronic submission guidelines. Please contact us at submissions@texasrecord.org.

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or destroyed images. Please read and sign our submittal form before sending any images.

If you are an institution, please contact us at submissions@texasrecord.org. We prefer you send us the images in original form for us to electronically record. We can, however, arrange to come to you if you have one-hundred or more images. Electronic submissions must conform to our electronic submission guidelines.

Please include as much information about each image as possible. We can arrange, and would prefer, you enter the information directly into our image database. This can be done after the images are photographed and posted.

We cannot accept images that do not conform to these basic guidelines, so please follow them carefully.

• Resolution: All images must be 100% of the original size at a minimum of 300 dpi (dots-per-inch). As an example, an 8"x10" image at 300 dpi is 2400x3000 pixels.
  
  
• File Format: All images should be sent uncompressed in TIFF format. We will also gladly accept Leaf Digital Camera HDR files. Please do not send JPEG, GIF, or other formats.
  
  
• Color Space: Please send only grayscale (8 bits/pixel), RGB (24 bits/pixel), or CMYK (32 bits/pixel) images.
  
  
• Transfer Media: We only accept PC or Macintosh format CD-ROM's, DVD's, Jazz, or Zip's. Our preferred transfer method is CD-ROM. Please do not send electronic tape media. We can also accept FTP uploads.
